You can see a campus map of Stephens College here. Senior Hall is #12.

Hey Gang! Tomorrows the night! You will need to bring some warm clothes, a flashlight, your CAMERAS, TRIPOD, and STROBES as well as any other light sources you feel will be interesting (“You gotta hoola hoop with lights? BRING IT!”-RR.)  For those of you who have yet to do the single flash demo, or if you need more help, bring your off camera cord with you to practice.  Please comment to this post on what you would like to bring to our weenie roast tomorrow evening!  Also check out the link below to a Sprint commerical that uses the technique.  More painting with light stuff to come! DIRECTIONS to Rock Bridge State Park here!

Light.  We’ve always taken it for granted.  I feel this will be the semester you will learn to be patient like none other.  We will do many complicated and time consuming things, but in the end, you will know how to measure the effects of light so well that you can manipulate them fairly easily.  This blog will serve to help assist with question you may have and also share information that will help you throughout the semester.  Feel free to share things with me to post on here as well.  Lets have a great semester! 🙂
